In this half-day workshop we will demonstrate the use of a surprisingly simple skeleton format to help you structure your content and answer forever the questions, How much information should I deliver? And in what order? How should I begin and end? How should I present it visually? We'll help you create great presentations, in less time, that will keep any audience focused and engaged while also putting a lid on hecklers.
This course covers how to:
- skew your material to the needs of any audience
- craft a simple, engaging introduction that puts immediate focus on you and your goal
- decide what goes in a talk, and what gets put in backup
- end your talk with grace and power
Participants should come prepared with a real-life topic to work on during the course.
Time commitment: Four hours, but this course can be easily expanded into a full-day workshop
